Our fantastic Early Years Educators are dedicated to providing outstanding care and education for the children within our care. They are passionate and enthusiastic about giving each child opportunities to learn and develop every day, encouraging them to reach their full potential. This highly rewarding role within our well-resourced and high quality nursery settings provides the ideal opportunity for our Early Years professionals to make a real difference to the children in our care and their families
We use the Key Person approach to support parents and children when settling into nursery, and understand the individual needs and circumstances of each child and their families. All Early Years Educators use an electronic system “I Connect” to track children’s progress, make observations and plan for the child’s next steps. This is turn gives parents the opportunity to contribute to their child’s learning journey through the use of the shared system. Parents receive regular electronic updates including photographs and observations about each key child throughout the day.

“Before working with Seymour House I studied at Southend College for my BTEC Level 3. I saw the opportunity at Seymour House online and applied for it as I always knew I wanted to work with young children and I saw all of the good opportunities that Seymour House had to offer.
I love working with the children in Orange Room because I love seeing them grow and watching them learn how to walk, talk and grow into young children. I feel I have a great bond with both the parents and the children and I enjoy helping the children learn from a young age.
In the future I would love to progress to become a Senior Early Years Educator at Seymour House.”
