Relief Team

Relief Team

Our Relief Team enjoy working in high quality, well-resourced settings, and are able to choose the hours which suit them and work around their other commitments.  Many of our Relief Team members have the opportunity to experience working in multiple locations, and are passionate and enthusiastic about giving each child opportunities to learn and develop every day, encouraging them to reach their full potential.  This highly rewarding role provides the ideal opportunity for our Relief Team members to make a real difference to the children in our care and their families.

We use the Key Person approach to support parents and children when settling into nursery, and understand the individual needs and circumstances of each child and their families. Relief team members support the Key Persons with their key person responsibilities, by getting to know all children well and being able to meet their individual needs, carrying out appropriate activities and helping to track and support children’s development.

Becky Harrington

“I enjoy working as a relief team member as the hours are flexible and I can fit them around studying for my degree, and I love having the opportunity to work at the different Seymour House nurseries.

The team make me feel so valued at all times, and I have the added bonus of working in all of the homebase rooms and seeing the stages of development for all of the children.

It is great to be part of an outstanding team.”
