Outstanding childcare at our nurseries in Chelsmford

If you live or work in Chelmsford, Seymour House has four exceptional nurseries to choose from, with another opening in Autumn 2025. Each of our Chelmsford nurseries is in an easily accessible location and provides the same excellent early years childcare and education for children and families in our local community. 

Just north of the city centre, and within easy reach of Chelmsford train station, is Broomfield Road Nursery. This was the first Seymour House nursery, where our story began over 30 years ago. 

A little further north, about 4 miles from the city centre, is Broomfield Hospital Nursery. As the name suggests, this nursery is on site at Broomfield Hospital, offering childcare to both local families and those who work at the hospital. 

Just east of the city centre is Springfield Road Nursery. This Chelmsford nursery has the advantage of the bright, airy rooms of a three storey Victorian house, where the children can learn and play in a homely environment.  

Lawn Lane Nursery is a couple of miles north east of Chelmsford, in Springfield. Here you can choose either year round or a term time only place for your child.  

Our Chelmsford nurseries all have spacious facilities, with indoor and outdoor classrooms where children can unlock their creativity as they play, learn and grow.

Now taking applications to start in Autumn 2025 is Channels Day Nursery. Currently under construction, this brand-new nursery will be part of the growing Channels development on the outskirts of Chelmsford.
