At this stage, toddlers are bursting with energy and ready to explore, plus they’re all about trying things themselves, and we love that! That’s why we’ve created environments for our childcare for 2-year-oldsand 3-year-olds that are designed to balance freedom with safety. We establish routines that are reassuring yet flexible, giving children a safe base from which to grow in confidence. From playful hands-on invitations to play to cosy corners for quiet time, your child will feel both supported and encouraged to take little leaps towards independence.
The Tremendous Twos team: energetic, caring and experienced
Our Early Years Educators are there to make every day engaging and purposeful. From imaginative play to developing early writing skills, they know how to keep little minds busy and little hands learning. Whether it’s a daily giggle or a learning milestone, our team is right there, because we know each child grows best with a trusted adult cheering them on.
Many of our staff have been with us for years and are qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years. We also have our Early Years Apprentices, many of whom, supported by our brilliant team, go on to stay with us for a sparkling future in childcare. All members of our team continue to receive regular training to support every aspect of childcare for 2 and 3-year-olds.
Learning through awe, wonder and our 5Cs
Two and three-year-olds love an adventure and that’s exactly what our Awe & Wonder programme delivers. Your child might soar through a firefighter mission, become a dinosaur explorer, or save the day as a mini superhero. Each day is designed to ignite imagination and wonder, and every adventure ends with a keepsake photograph and a sticker to take home so you can share in their special moments.
These imaginative experiences are rooted in our 5Cs learning ethos of Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Co-operation and Curiosity, helping your toddler grow holistically through joyful discovery. We also weave in our Go Green Programme to build early connections with nature, and our Hygge-inspired spaces help promote wellbeing and a love for calm, cosy environments.
Mealtimes that encourage independence and healthy habits
Nutrition is an important part of development, so we serve fresh, balanced meals and snacks every day, prepared and delivered by our sister company, Nursery Kitchen. Mealtimes are social occasions where children practise using cutlery, share with friends and have the opportunity to try new flavours and textures.
Our kitchen gardens provide even more learning opportunities, giving children hands-on experience of growing ingredients, helping them see where their food comes from and inspiring healthy choices.
