Seymour House Apprenticeship Academy Celebrates Outstanding Ofsted Result

Seymour House is delighted to announce that its Apprenticeship Academy for Early Years has received an Outstanding rating in all areas following its first Ofsted inspection.

Inspectors praised the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and the overall apprenticeship provision, recognising the Academy’s commitment to nurturing and inspiring the next generation of early years educators.

Since welcoming its first apprentices in February 2023, Seymour House has supported aspiring educators across its nurseries in Essex and Hertfordshire, delivering training that builds knowledge, confidence and a lifelong love of early years education.

Ofsted highlighted the positive attitudes and professionalism of apprentices, who confidently apply their learning to create meaningful and engaging experiences for young children. The report also praised the wide range of enrichment opportunities, from exploring healthy eating with specialist caterers to visiting forest school settings and supporting local charities.

Inspectors commended the expertise and enthusiasm of the nursery team, recognising their high expectations and passion for providing the very best training experience. Tutors and assessors were acknowledged for delivering inspiring teaching and personalised support that enables apprentices to thrive.
